We are at the end of Hispanic Heritage Month. We will be doing our art presentations this week. Be prepared to present when you are called upon. When you are not presenting you will be taking notes on the presentations of your classmates. You will have a test at the end of the week or beginning of the next, depending on when we finish the presentations. For the test and your notes you will need to know the artist and the work of art presented as well as the country the artisit is from. This presentation is your first MYP assessment. Rough drafts will be returned this week after Wednesday. The final draft with the cover page will be turned in between Friday 23 October and Monday 26 october by 3:40 p.m. or else it would not be accepted. Remember you can always email it as an attachment, but make sure you try it before the due date to be on the safe side because if it is not in my mailbox before then I will not accept it. This week we will also have a make up stem changing verb and affirmative and negative words quiz. I will take the higher grade of the 2 you have taken. We will continue working on these concepts this week and begin the new chapter, 1B. Please bring your workbooks to class or bring ALL the workbook pages from the first section as well as the audio, video section of the workbook for chapter 1B. Be prepared!
